A long church tradition speaks of the four ways that God speaks to us today.  (God's Revelation)

1. Scripture - The Bible  (The Bible is best interpreted when we view it through the lens of two vital scriptures.  God's love for us as seen in John 3:16-17 and the command to love God and neighbor in Matthew 22:37-40)

2. Tradition - Long held Church teaching and traditions, as well as when Christians are gathered together sharing in Christian Community and Bible Study.

3. Reason - God gave us our minds and God speaks to us through thinking and logic. 

4. Experience - God speaks through the daily happenings of our lives. 

It is vital that we prayerfully pay attention to all four forms of revelation when we try to determine God's revelation, what God is saying to us.
